Caribou - Swim

This is the newest release from Dan Snaith, and I must say it's pretty good. I can't by any means say that this measures up to that of Andorra, which was beyond awesome, but it's not bad either. My favorite gems of this album would have to be Odessa and Jamelia undoubtedly, because both of these have a really smooth feel, all of the instruments meld together so smoothly in that song, and his voice drowns in the rest of the music to go with  it making his voice become an additional pleasant sound to follow with the effect. The album is solid in this sense and overall I was pleased, just not quite as pleased as with Andorra.

Can you go??

Jónsi - Go

No lie, this album will most likely be on my best of 2010 list, it comes out in April, and it's utterly spectacular. You may have thought you loved Sigur Ros already, he's the guitarist and lead vocals,  but this guy can do amazing on his own as well. Not only is this album upbeat and just friggin' joyous, but still inventive and by no means your average album.  His lyrics are in English as well for this album, but still sound awesome. This is one of those albums that you fall in love with upon first listen. Seriously, I've haven't been this excited about an album in a while, give it a listen. Oh goodness, this thing is goin' on repeat for a while, and no seriously, go get this album, I will slap you silly if you don't.
